That’s a wrap on National Health Center Week!

We had an amazing week celebrating with our communities and welcomed more than 800 people across all three events.

When temperatures rise, keeping cool is essential for your health and well-being. Local public splash pads, like the one at the Hillsboro Civic Center Plaza, and air-conditioned indoor spaces like public libraries offer great ways to beat the heat safely.

Our hearts are full as we wrap up an incredible milestone. Today, July 3rd, officially marks Virginia Garcia’s 51st year of serving our community!
What started over five decades ago as a small grassroots effort has grown to serve more than 53,724 patients each year across Washington and Yamhill counties. Thank you for trusting us with your health and well-being—you are the heart of our story.

Looking back at our 50th year, we are so proud of the moments we shared with you:
- We expanded access by opening our brand-new Sheridan Clinic and completely refreshing our Newberg Wellness Center.
- We celebrated with our community at health fairs, distributing free school backpacks to hundreds of children.
- We shared our history with the region through a special feature in the Portland Starlight Parade and an exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society.

We are so grateful for our history, but we are even more excited for the future. Happy 51st Anniversary, VG family! Here’s to the next chapter of caring for our community—together.
