COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY

As of June 1, 2025 until further notice

By reading this page, you signify your acceptance of the terms and conditions laid forth in this USA Course Cancellation Policy.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Us”, “Our” and “We” refers to www.emmett-technique-usa.com, their employees, agents, consultants, instructors, tutors and representatives. “You” and “Your” refers to you, the client, student, registering student, potential student or person reading this course cancellation policy.

Instructors make every effort to promote their courses in order to achieve a minimal number of student registrations for each course. However, on occasion there will be times when minimum registrations are not met and the instructor may need to cancel or postpone a class. In those instances the instructor must advise of the cancellation of the course two (2) weeks prior to the course start date and refund all deposits.

It is further noted that in addition to this, the Emmett Technique recognizes that students may also be required to cancel a class they have registered for after they have already paid a deposit or the full course price:

If the occasion arises where a student elects to cancel a course and notifies the instructor more than 30 days prior to the course, then the student's course fee minus a $50 admin fee will be refunded.
If the student cancels within 30 - 15 days of the course, 50% of the course fee minus a $50 admin fee will be refunded.
Course fees are forfeited for cancellations less than 15 days from the course start date
In order to reduce out of pocket expenses, it is strongly recommended that students purchase changeable, or refundable airline tickets and arrange their own travel insurance that will cover their travel and accommodation should a course be cancelled.

Except as provided by law, we, our employees, agents, consultants and representatives (including, but not limited to, USA country representatives, USA instructors and USA tutors) do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any student travel/accommodation costs incurred for a cancelled course for any reason, and will not provide reimbursement for any student travel/accommodation costs for any reason.
If the course is cancelled due to an insufficient number of registered students, then those students registered have the choice of having their course fee returned or applying their course fee towards the next course the student takes with the instructor.

You can look up Ross Emmett Technique on YouTube lots of videos of him explaining the technique. It has changed my practice, easy on my body and on the client.
I have taken a few courses on releasing the Psoas all have been invasive but not Ross’s work simple and easy to apply with releases to the psoas
