Hello all my amazing clients, friends, and family.. I’ve realized I haven’t posted on here for quite sometime and have given you all a brief update and rundown on life and my business right now...

At this moment I still am not offering any massage services at the moment. With the covid shut down and my boys not being in school from March until June and again not being able to go back to school at the beginning of September I of course have to devote ALL my time and energy into homeschooling my boys!!! I know you all understand and can relate that this whole
Covid thing has changed a lot of people’s lives, jobs, schooling, businesses you name it!!!

So as of right now I can most likely say that I am
1. Not returning to work until my boys return to school.
2. Not working until most likely the end of October.

I will be sure to keep you all updated and posted when I am back up and running!!!

Sorry for the inconvenience, BUT on another note.. I recently jumped on the LimeLife by Alcone journey and have been selling these amazing products for skincare and makeup for almost 2 months now... Hi it’s me!!! I just wanted to hop on here to send out a quick message and reach out to all my clients... I know that these times are stressful, exhausting, tiring, worrisome, and everything in between and the first and only thing you want right now is a massage, believe me I KNOW THE FEELING!! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ but right now we are still shut down, some may think we are essential, and you are right, we are essential to everyone in some way or form, especially for you mental health most importantly. But the sticky thing is, we are still in such a “gray” area to where we are considered “non essential” and the only massages that are allowed are for “acute pain”, lymphatic drainage, and a few others. Even the governor saying “having a doctors note is still not good enough”.. it is super frustrating and I have had MANY just say “work under the table, I’ll pay cash, what if I have my doctor write you a note” etc etc and the list goes on. These times are tough and the decisions made by everyone are even harder, but I tell myself again and again is it “worth it” opening up against the governors orders and working(which could lead to losing my license) and possibly bringing this virus into my house(which is also my business) and to me it’s not! Not at the moment, so I just wanted to say that until we are released to go back to work, which is likely to be in phase 2, my first weeks of work will be the first week of June, which is filling up FAST!! Hang in there, I certainly am
trying, and you better believe
me when this is all over I am MORE than READY to give you all some of the best massages you’ve ever had!! 🙋🏻‍♀️👍🤣

Also a shout out to those of you that have donated money, gifts, bought gift cards, or paid for your next few massages in advance... this truly is an amazing feeling to have so much support!!!

I just wanted to hop on here to give everyone a little update. As of a couple weeks ago massage therapy was still apart of the “essential” workers list, until the final stay at home order was put in place and we were no longer apart of that “essential” list, but were told that if it was medically necessary then we could work, well in any one of my clients cases would be medically necessary for pain management, headaches, sciatic pain, post cancer, post car accident, post surgery and much more. To me all of these are medically necessary, so it left us all in a difficult position to determine whether or not all were necessary to keep our doors open.. we needed more clarification... as of Monday this week we got that much needed clarification from the Department of Health specifically for Massage Therapists. We were explained in detail what we had all been questioning and wondering... we were told that even if massage was prescribed by a doctor it still wasn’t considered “essential”. So with that being said, sad news is that my doors will remain CLOSED until May 4th, which is the date the stay at home order was extended to. Fingers crossed I will get to be able to open my doors and be able to provide all my clients with massage therapy again soon. Until then I wanted you all to know I have gift cards available to purchase if you’d like and towards the end of the month I will have a special available for gift card purchases available for Mother’s Day and those special women in your life!!! As the Governor announced tonight that we are on a state “lock down” to say the least I am sad to announce that I will have to close my massage practice starting tomorrow till at least April 6th, if not longer. In hopes to slow down the spread of this virus that is hitting our states at a rapid rate. It saddens me to say that we, Massage Therapists are no longer apart of the “essential worker” list, but I am just grateful that my boys and I are happy and healthy and staying HOME!! Please take care of yourselves and your families in these hard times, enjoy your time home with your kids and family, and please show some love and compassion for those who don’t get any time off during this scary epidemic... Be kind to one another and I hope to be up and running again in April!!! 🥰🤗👍😘🖤

Posting as a Friendly reminder of my 24 hour cancellation policy..

I truly enjoy being able to be your massage therapist and I work my hardest to make times and days work for all my clients. My goal is to work with you and for you for all your sessions and future appointments. But please keep in mind I also have a family and need to set up babysitters in advance so my time as well is very important.

Lately I have had a lot of no shows and cancellations within the 24 hour period which makes it extremely difficult to fill those spots with limited time in advance to schedule anyone else, as I am booked out usually two to three weeks out.. I understand things come up, work schedule changes, life events, sick kiddos but this is also my job that I lose money and time from with no show or cancellations. All I ask is to please be considerate and understanding...

Also as a reminder when you schedule your appointment I will remind you that there is a 50% fee of your scheduled appointment if you are a no show or cancel within those 24 hours of your scheduled services that you are obligated to pay ASAP. Another addition is if you are a no show more then once you are obligated to pay the FULL session. 🤗

Another friendly reminder is I have a lot of clients with some outstanding balances due from no shows/cancellations that I have been pretty lenient about not collecting for months and months but this again is affecting my small business and supporting my family. I will be sending out reminder messages/texts to those who Owe!!
