The City of Forrest City invites everyone to the 2026 Forrest City Community Health & Wellness Fair on Thursday, August 6, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Larry S. Bryant Multipurpose & Wellness Center.



This year's Health Fair is shaping up to be our biggest yet, with more than 30 healthcare providers, community organizations, and local businesses offering valuable information, free health services, and family-friendly activities.



Attendees can take advantage of FREE health screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood glucose screenings, HIV testing, prostate cancer screenings, and the UAMS Lung Cancer Screening Mobile Unit.



You'll also find information on nutrition, diabetes prevention, health insurance, WIC services, child support services, caregiving resources, massage therapy, senior services, college and career opportunities, home health care, and much more.



Families can also visit the Nourish Mobile for fresh produce, enjoy healthy cooking demonstrations, enter for door prizes, and connect with organizations dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community.



Admission is FREE, and no registration is required for most activities. Some screenings may have limited availability, so everyone is encouraged to arrive early.

Cross County residents there will be a food distribution tomorrow at the Odell McCallum Center in Wynne. 9am-11am or until food runs out.

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will be in Cross County to set up a USDA Food Distribution. We will be in Wynne. If you are interested in this program and live in the county, please stop by July 22nd 9am-11am in Wynne OR until the food runs out.

A USDA Food Distribution site is a one-day food pantry where families and individuals are given this food free of charge, and eligibility is based on the number of people in the household and the household’s combined monthly income.
