Dear Clients,

This time in our world has brought about many changes and ROOTS SALON is not immune to them. We have been working on ways to best protect you, our clients, our families and ourselves. It looks like all of us will be starting back by June 1st, but with this will come with some changes for your next appointment. Our hope is to provide the same great, professional, friendly service to you in the safest way possible.

The changes are:

❤️ ALTHOUGHT WE HAVE ALWAYS TRIED TO KEEP A VERY CLEAN SALON, OUR SALON HAS BEEN THOROUGHLY DISINFECTED AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE.

❤️ PLEASE CALL THE SALON OR YOUR STYLIST FOR AN APPOINTMENT. DO NOT WALK INTO THE SALON TO MAKE ONE.This will help to limit the amount of traffic flow in and out of the salon.

❤️ YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN A WAIVER/ CONSENT FORM UPON ENTERING THE SALON.

❤️ WE ASK THAT YOU WEAR A MASK UPON ENTERING THE SALON AND THROUGHOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT. WE WILL ALSO BE WEARING MASKS TO HELP PROTECT YOU.

❤️ WE WILL HAVE HAND SANITIZERS AVAILABLE AND ASK THAT ALL CLIENTS USE THEM UPON ENTERING THE SALON.

❤️ THE ROOTS SALON STAFF WILL BE TAKING OUR TEMPERATURES DAILY AND EACH CLIENT WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURES TAKEN AS WELL.

❤️WE ASK THAT YOU COME ALONE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT IN ORDER TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE SALON AT ONE TIME. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, PLEASE MAKE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR STYLIST.

❤️ WE ASK THAT YOU WAIT OUTSIDE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENTS UNTIL YOUR STYLIST NOTIFIES YOU THAT SHE IS READY FOR YOU.

❤️ IF YOU NEED PRODUCTS, PLEASE ASK YOUR STYLIST FOR ASSISTANCE. THIS WILL LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF HANDS TOUCHING THE PRODUCT.

❤️ WE ASK THAT THAT YOU RESPECT THE 6ft SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES.

❤️ AS WE WERE DOING BEFORE, ALL TOOLS, TOWELS AND CAPES WILL BE REGULARLY DISINFECTED

❤️WE WILL BE SINGLE BOOKING APPOINTMENTS IN ORDER TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN TNE SALON.

❤️ WE WILL BE CHECKING OUR CLIENTS OUT AT OUR STATIONS IN ORDER TO AVOID CONGREGATING AT THE DESK.

❤️ WE WILL BE ALLOWING TIME IN BETWEEN EACH CLIENT TO SANITIZE OUR CHAIRS, TOOLS, CAPES AND STATIONS.

❤️.WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING ANY MAGAZINES AT THIS TIME.

❤️ WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OFFER ANY BEVERAGES AT THIS TIME, SO PLEASE BRING A DRINK WITH YOU.

❤️ WE KNOW WE HAVE ALOT OF CLIENTS THAT ARE ANXIOUS TO GET THEIR HAIR DONE...ITS BEEN WAY TOO LONG! BUT, IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, PLEASE STAY AT HOME. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU THE REST YOU NEED, WHILE BEING RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS.

Today, April, 23, 2020, Governor J.B. Pritzker extended our shelter in place order until May 30, 2020. Some restrictions were lifted, but unfortunately our profession was ordered to stay closed.

This is not something we wished for...it is heartbreaking for us, too! We miss our time with all of you! We will continue to shelter in place to protect our families, our clients and ourselves. We know this is not easy on you, nor is it on us.

We ask for your patience as we do our part in this uncertain time. As we do our part in staying home, we hope all salons and stylist are doing theirs, too! We’ll be back just as soon as we can, rested and refreshed.... anxious to serve you! May 31st can’t get here soon enough!

Our chairs miss your b***y sitting in them, our mirrors miss seeing your smiling faces and we miss your conversations and most importantly, your HAIR!! It’s pretty lonely in here without you all! Hope to see everyone soon.... until then, stay safe and healthy!!
