Many of you know me as PoshLisa! It was my life for 8 years once I found a company and community I believed in. It wasn’t just about pampering others. I loved all my friends and mentors who did it with me. As a mom of littles, my trips for things like our convention gave me the refresh and me time I desperately needed. When the company started going through changes I couldn’t support, I closed my Posh business. I missed it so badly, I tried another skincare company I thought could fill the gap. It wasn’t a good fit. In the back of my mind I always prayed something would come along that could give me that community again. I joined Scentsy just for the discount, but again it’s not the pampering fit I need.

Over the last few months I have known about a small start up: a social selling brand made by ambassadors for ambassadors, with some of my most trusted mentors and leaders from Posh. I’ve been learning and listening and I feel it’s a perfect fit. I have a desire to keep learning, to keep reaching for goals, but also a sense of peace that I’ve not had in my business for a long long time.

Today is August 6! At least it is for another hour or so. It’s my 8th anniversary as a Posh consultant! I squeezed in a little business this month with the launch before we headed to the Dells, but I put it on hold until we are home next Monday. I looked at my virtual office to see if my anniversary was today or tomorrow and noticed my lifetime sales. I’m close to $50,000 and I think since I’m rededicating myself to this opportunity I should shoot to hit that mark by the end of the year. I do love the products and sharing them. I spent a year drowning in stress as the director of a nonprofit and stopped pampering completely. It was heartbreaking to lose funding and have to close, and also scary to lose my job....but Posh is my job. It’s my opportunity to make money from home simply by sharing what I love and use.

I thought during downtime at the campsite I’d make a list of past hostesses and customers who I could contact about hosting for me. We’re on the second full day of our trip and we’ve been going nonstop. If you read this post and don’t hear from me by next week, please reach out to me if you’d be willing to share Posh with some friends. The new catalog is back to basics. I can swing back to sample bags because we have new face washes, masks and a returning favorite moisturizer. All I have to do is give these samples out and do the follow up. Facebook parties are so perfect because I can send packets to all your family and friends interested and we can discuss what they’ve received in the mail. The kids are going back to school this month so this mama plans on blocking off some time each day to do Posh.
