🛌Waking up at 3AM is no fun! In Chinese Medicine, 1-3AM is the time that corresponds to the Liver. The liver easily gets out of balance in the Spring, during times of stress, and during hormonal shifts.

🩸To nourish your liver blood so that you can sleep better tonight, keep your foods and drinks warm. Focus on activities that make you feel calm, like walking and restorative yoga, and be sure to eat plenty of protein. Try a late-night snack of full-fat greek yogurt or almond butter to keep your blood sugar stable all night. Avoid suspenseful shows that will spike your adrenaline in the evening, and consider taking a walk after dinner, especially now that we have so much daylight!
