Tech Tuesday:

DT Swiss 54T Ratchet Upgrade
54 engagement points = only 6.6° until power transfer (vs. 18° on a standard 18T)
Near-instant pedal engagement — critical on technical climbs & tricky rock gardens
Simple 2-part ratchet system with fewer parts to maintain
Drop-in upgrade — took me 5 minutes to swap out

Another upgrade that is instantly noticeable on trail and has made me a more confident rider, especially when it comes to track stands, balancing, and technical terrain.

It takes about a full week to acclimate to heat - and another week of inactivity to entirely lose that acclimatization that you worked so hard to get. Make sure you’re training leading up to Crested Butte 2026!
