🏠🔨 LOOKING FOR A CONTRACTOR WHO IS IN RECOVERY!

****Please read the entire post… Don’t read just looking for a contractor. I’m having a massive amount of people contact me who clearly did not read the entire post. 

We may have a property in the near future in the Huntington, WV area that will need some renovations, and we are exploring a unique opportunity for someone who is currently in recovery and has experience in construction, remodeling, or general contracting!

We are looking for someone who may be interested in LIVING AT THE PROPERTY RENT-FREE while helping us renovate and prepare it for its future purpose!

🏡 What’s the long-term plan?

Our goal is to eventually turn this property into a Sober Living Facility, providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals working toward long-term recovery.

Even better, this opportunity could potentially turn into something much bigger!

Once the facility is operational, the right individual could have the opportunity to:

✅ Continue living at the property as the House Manager.

✅ Help oversee the day-to-day operations and support residents in their recovery journeys.

✅ Work toward becoming a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC), if interested and eligible.

✅ Become part of a program dedicated to helping others rebuild their lives!

💙 We would love to find someone who has personally experienced recovery and wants to use their skills, knowledge, and lived experiences to help others.

This could be a great opportunity for someone looking for stable housing, an opportunity to put their construction skills to use, and the possibility of a long-term role in a meaningful program.

🏢 Sometimes things just don’t work out the way we hope!

Unfortunately, it looks like the property we were considering purchasing isn’t going to work out after all.

While it’s disappointing, we’re choosing to take this as a sign that maybe the timing, the location, or simply the opportunity isn’t quite right for us at this moment.

We will continue searching for a property that fits our needs and allows us to bring some of the exciting projects we’ve been planning to life!

And who knows? Maybe things will turn around with this particular property, and it will end up being the one after all. We’re certainly not closing that door completely!

Sometimes a delay is just a redirection, and we believe the right opportunity will come along when it’s meant to. ❤️

📍 Location: Huntington, WV Area

I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and dependable nanny/housekeeper to help care for my 2½-year-old daughter and assist with general household cleaning and organization.

📅 SCHEDULE:

* 2 days per week, regularly scheduled.
* Hours may be 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, depending on the day.
* Must have flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed when our other nanny/housekeeper, who works the remaining three weekdays, is sick or otherwise unavailable.

🧸 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Providing attentive, loving, and responsible care for my daughter.
* Engaging her in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and developmental activities.
* Preparing meals, feeding, changing, and assisting with her daily routine.
* General housekeeping, including dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and organizing.
* Taking my daughter to approved activities, outings, and playdates as needed.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home.

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

* Must pass a criminal background check.
* Must pass an abuse and neglect background check.
* Must pass a drug screening.
* Must be reliable, trustworthy, patient, and genuinely good with young children.
* Must have dependable transportation and be willing and able to transport my daughter to activities when necessary.
* Must be comfortable balancing childcare responsibilities with housekeeping duties.
* Previous childcare or nanny experience is preferred.

📹 IMPORTANT — HOME CAMERAS:

For my daughter’s safety and security, we have cameras throughout the common areas of our home, including my daughter’s bedroom. Applicants must be comfortable working in a home with cameras.

There are NO cameras in bathrooms or any other bedrooms besides my daughter’s.

I’m looking for someone who will treat my daughter with kindness, patience, and care while also taking initiative to keep the house clean and organized. Reliability is extremely important, as I need someone I can count on to show up as scheduled.

Tomorrow, we will officially be submitting an offer on a facility with nearly 12,000 square feet of space!

If our offer is accepted, or we’re able to negotiate terms that work for everyone, we’ll have another BIG decision to make!

We’ve been exploring several possibilities for this property, including:

🏠 A Sober Living Community – Providing a safe, supportive environment for individuals working toward recovery and independence.

🏫 A Private Micro School – Offering a smaller, more personalized educational experience for children in our community.

🏥 An Expanded Healthcare Center – Creating a much larger space to provide additional healthcare and behavioral health services to the community.

And who knows? With nearly 12,000 square feet, maybe we can find a way to incorporate more than one of these ideas!

Nothing is set in stone just yet, but we’re excited about the possibilities and what this property could mean for our community.

📣 WHO IS BEHIND COALFIELD FAMILY SERVICES AND ALL THESE BIG PROJECTS?! 👀

Lately, especially with our discussions about opening a micro school and a large sober living community, I’ve heard people asking who owns our organizations, who’s financially backing these projects, and who’s the person behind all these ideas.

Well, I guess it’s time to introduce myself! And since I’m going to introduce myself anyway, WHY NOT DO IT IN A BIG WAY?! 😂🎁

I mean, anybody can introduce themselves with a picture and a little biography. That’s boring! I might as well give away an entire Christmas while I’m at it! 🎅🤣

👋 My name is Danny Jude!

Professionally, I’m a Board-Certified Psychotherapist, Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Nationally Certified Anger Management Specialist, Certified Public School Teacher, and my highest level of education is a doctorate.

But my most important title is DAD! ❤️

I’m the proud father of an 18-year-old son, Johnathan, and a 2-year-old daughter, Everly. I have also brought more than 20 foster sons and 7 foreign exchange sons into my home over the last 18 years. We live in Wayne County and mostly keep to ourselves because life keeps us pretty busy! I’m originally from Martin County, Kentucky.

I’m also the owner, founder, and president of Coalfield Family Services,Coalfield Family Foundation, Express Tags & Titles, and several other organizations I’ve operated over the years.

BUT HERE’S SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME… ❤️

I didn’t grow up with money. I grew up living in Section 8 housing and trailer parks. I know what it’s like to go without, and I know what it’s like when your family has to worry about how they’re going to make ends meet.

We’ve all had hard times, and I certainly haven’t forgotten mine.

Today, I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where my children and I no longer have to worry about many of the things I worried about growing up. And I don’t take that for granted!

I believe that when life puts you in a position to help others, YOU SHOULD!

For years, I’ve quietly sponsored a public school classroom each year. Sometimes that meant Christmas gifts for every student, pumpkins and activities at Halloween, or even new classroom furniture and supplies.

Most people never knew, and sometimes even the teachers didn’t know who was behind it. That’s exactly how I liked it!

Unfortunately, I haven’t done that this year, so I’ve decided to do something a little different!

🎄🎅 THIS YEAR, I WANT TO SPONSOR AN ENTIRE FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS! 🎁❤️

And when I say sponsor a family, I DON’T MEAN BUYING A FEW TOYS AND CALLING IT A DAY!

🗓️ **Schedule:** 2–3 days per week likely Mon, Wed and Thursday.
⏰ **Hours:** 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📅 **Occasional Saturdays Required**

This position will involve a **wide range of office duties**, so we are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable taking on different responsibilities throughout the day.

This is currently a **part-time position**, but as our office continues to grow, there is a possibility that the position could develop into **full-time employment in the future**. At this time, however, it is too early to know whether or when that may happen.
