• Why room service feels more luxurious than fine dining.
• Why style gets better when you stop asking permission.
• Why every city looks better with a glass of champagne.
• Why wrinkles aren’t the problem.
• Why bad lighting should be illegal.
• Why I could absolutely live here if someone handled the laundry.
• Why aging isn’t the end of the story.
• Why I always get my best ideas in a bathtub.
• Why I’m never checking out.

Now THIS is where you do skincare so call me old-fashioned, but I don’t think every skincare routine needs an audience.

Somewhere along the way, beauty became performance. Sheet masks on planes. Serums in airport lounges. A 12-step routine on public transportation.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never felt the need to turn Seat 3A into a treatment room.

The older I get, the more I realize that true luxury isn’t doing more, it’s editing. It’s knowing what matters, what works, and what can wait until you get home.

Your skin doesn’t know if you’re in first class or sitting on your bathroom floor. It responds to consistency, not spectacle.

We’ve been taught that beauty requires constant maintenance. I disagree.

Sometimes the most elegant thing you can do is drink your water, apply a little lip balm, and leave your face alone.

Because self-care and performing self-care are not the same thing.
