Did you know the mind-body connection is this strong? A new study of over 4,500 teens found that those dealing with social anxiety are more than twice as likely to experience severe asthma symptoms.

It turns out that anxiety and asthma feed into each other in a vicious cycle. Panic can tighten the airways, and socially anxious teens often feel too embarrassed to use their inhalers in front of friends, making their symptoms worse.

The big takeaway here? Getting teens mental health support isn't just good for their emotional well-being, it’s a vital part of helping them manage physical conditions, too! Let’s normalize taking care of our minds and using inhalers when we need them. 💙
