My heart is truly heavy reading this… 💔

A dedicated USPS worker, Tinisha Cade, lost her life after a tragic crash while simply doing her job and serving her community. She was only 40 years old. Witnesses say a speeding car hit her postal truck, causing it to flip… something that should have never happened.

This is more than just news — this is someone’s family, someone’s friend, someone who showed up every day to make sure others received what they needed.

My heart goes out to Tinisha Cade, her loved ones, and every single USPS worker out there putting their lives at risk daily. You all deserve so much more safety, respect, and protection.

Please slow down. Please be mindful. Lives depend on it. 🙏

And here’s the crazy part…
They don’t run on tax dollars as most people think. USPS funds itself, while still being required to deliver to every address, no matter how far or rural it is.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) may run out of cash as early as October, and may not be able to deliver mail by next year unless drastic measures are taken, the postmaster general said.

Virginia’s House of Delegates unanimously passed H.B. 1313 to expand workers' comp coverage for law enforcement and firefighters when preexisting mental health conditions worsen, even without a physical injury.

The bill clarifies that “mental‑mental” claims can include exacerbations, not just new diagnoses. It also removes the requirement that one qualifying event be the primary cause of the condition.

The measure now moves to the Senate for further debate.
