Okay… WOW. ChatGPT really knows me. 😂

Well, almost.

I’m not a Reiki practitioner, but aside from that? Pretty damn spot on.

And listen, I’m not exactly a fan of AI… but I have to admit, it can be really fun to play with. So I asked it to pretend to be my drunk best friend and explain what I do.

Apparently I talk to nervous systems & have conversations with fascia… and somehow find time to run Zentuary and take people to Morocco. 😂

But what it said about The Zentuary Method™?

YES. That part is so true.

You can learn every healing technique in the world, but if you don’t know how to read, regulate and facilitate a nervous system, you’re missing the foundation.

And now there are only 4 spots left in The Zentuary Method Practitioner Training Dec 13-17!

If you’ve been feeling the pull, this is your sign.

Get in. 🔥

Every experience we’ve had changes the way our body organizes itself.

Our muscles tighten. Our breathing changes. Our posture changes.

Our nervous system adapts to help us survive.

Sometimes those protective patterns stay long after the event is over.

Somatic work helps you notice those patterns and gently teach the body it no longer has to live in survival.

When the nervous system learns it’s safe, the body can stop holding on so tightly.

That’s the foundation of everything we do at Zentuary.

That’s Nervous System First Healing™. 🤍

Just because you’ve gotten used to it doesn’t mean it’s normal.

Think about moving next door to train tracks.
At first, every train wakes you up.
Eventually, you barely notice them.
The trains didn’t get quieter. Your body adapted.

Our nervous system does the same thing.

Over time, jaw tension, headaches, digestive issues, always rushing, constantly feeling “on”... they can become so familiar that we stop questioning them.

We tell ourselves, “This is just how I am.”

But many of these patterns began as your body’s way of protecting you.

Your nervous system doesn’t always choose what’s best for you. It chooses what’s familiar.

That’s why healing can feel uncomfortable at first. You’re asking your body to experience something new.

Healing isn’t just about recovering from what’s happened to you. It’s about creating a life you genuinely love waking up to. That’s the heart behind Zentuary, and why we’ll always encourage people to stop waiting for “someday.”

We will help you & your nervous system experience enough moments of safety that a new normal can begin to take shape.

That’s the foundation of The Zentuary Method™.

When the body finally feels safe, lasting change becomes possible.

We hear it all the time at Zentuary…

“That’s not really for me.”
“It sounds a little woo woo.”
“I can’t sit still long enough for that.”
“I wouldn’t even know where to start.”

And then the quietest one, the one that’s hardest to say out loud:
“I don’t think I actually need it.”

Over the years, Veruschka | Spinal Energetics, Breathwork & Hypnosis has shared that most of these aren’t really reasons. They’re the nervous system doing what it does best: keeping you close to what feels familiar, and away from anything that might ask something different of you.

That’s not a character flaw. It’s just how we’re wired.

The women who eventually walk through the door at Zentuary aren’t the ones who had it all figured out.
They’re the ones who got tired of waiting until they felt ready and decided to show up anyway.

You don’t have to know what you’re doing. You just have to begin.

Veruschka | Spinal Energetics, Breathwork & Hypnosis just returned from an immersive 10-day retreat with Dr Joe Dispenza and this one lesson feels especially worth sharing:

If slowing down feels impossible, or like you’re failing at something, or could be doing something else more useful with your time…

It might mean your nervous system has forgotten what rest feels like.

So many high-achieving, high-functioning people wear “always being busy” like a badge of honor.

But when your body has been living with its foot on the gas for years, taking your foot off the pedal can actually feel uncomfortable.

That’s why so many people say:

“I can’t meditate.”

You actually already know how to, it’s like falling asleep, it’s just that your body has been conditioned to keep moving during waking hours.

As Veruschka shares in this video, regulation isn’t something you master overnight. Like training a puppy to “stay,” you teach your nervous system that it’s safe to pause, first for three minutes, then six, then ten.

Over time, those moments of stillness become more familiar.

You begin creating new neural pathways, breaking old patterns, and showing your body that rest isn’t something to fear.

Healing isn’t always found in doing more.

Sometimes it’s found in proving to yourself that you can simply... stay.

✨ Have you ever noticed that slowing down feels harder than staying busy?

Some of the most common things we hear at Zentuary is:

“I don’t know what I feel anymore.”
“I don’t know what I need.”
“I don’t know where to start.”

When you’ve spent years carrying stress, navigating challenges, or holding everything together, it’s easy to lose touch with yourself.

Many people assume they need to dig deeper, try harder, or figure it all out before healing can begin.

At Zentuary, we take a different approach.

The Zentuary Method starts with Nervous System First Healing™ because safety creates the conditions for change.

As the body begins to feel supported, many people notice something shifts. They become more present. More connected. More able to hear the signals they’ve been missing.

Healing doesn’t have to start with a breakthrough.

Sometimes it starts with creating enough safety for your system to exhale.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, stuck, or unsure of what comes next, this work may be the place to begin.

Many people come to Zentuary feeling disconnected from themselves.

They say they can’t access their emotions, don’t know what they need, or feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to move beyond.

What often looks like disconnection is a nervous system that has been carrying too much for too long.

The Zentuary Method begins with Nervous System First Healing™ because safety creates the foundation for everything else.

When the body feels supported, awareness expands. What felt out of reach becomes easier to access. What felt overwhelming becomes easier to hold.

Healing doesn’t have to begin with having all the answers.
Sometimes it begins by helping your system remember that it no longer has to do everything alone.
