I already sent this out but want to do it again. I have an amazing, supportive wife who looks out for me. After much thought and prayer, I want to share an important update with my patients and community.
In the coming months, I will be stepping away from my practice to serve on an 18-month medical mission in Brazil. This is a deeply meaningful opportunity for me, but it is also not an easy decision—caring for each of you has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
To ensure continuity of care:
• Patients currently receiving GLP-1 treatment will have the option to continue their care with a trusted colleague, who shares my commitment to quality and patient-centered care. Chris Castello will take care of you like I would.
• For all other medical needs, I kindly ask that you begin transitioning to a primary care provider who can continue to support your ongoing health.
I understand that change can be difficult, and I truly wish I could continue alongside you during this time. Please know that this decision comes with both purpose and a heavy heart. I am profoundly grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and for the relationships we have built together.
Over the next several weeks, my office will provide guidance and support to help make your transition as smooth as possible. If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your care. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers, and I carry your stories with me as I begin this next chapter.
With sincere gratitude,
Rich Goddard MD
