This year reminded me that life can change with a single phone call.
Some chapters break you.
Some rebuild you.
Most do a little of both.
I’ve spent so much time wishing I could go back and change things. Say one more thing. Ask one more question. Get one more day.
But that’s not how life works.
We spend so much of life waiting for the “right” time.
The right season.
The right amount of money.
The right version of ourselves.
Then life reminds you that none of us gets that guarantee.
You don’t know how many sunrises you have left…
Or how many sunsets you’ll get to watch.
None of us gets to rewind.
All we ever truly have…
Is this moment.
And maybe that’s the invitation.
To become so deeply present that even the ordinary feels sacred.
To choose love over fear.
To choose grace over judgment.
To choose peace over proving.
To choose yourself without guilt.
To love the people in front of you while you still can.
Not because life is perfect…
But because it’s precious.
So tomorrow, I’ll wake up…
And I’ll choose love.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Because I believe that’s why we’re here.
Not just to exist.
But to love so fully that, when our final sunset comes, we leave behind more light than we took with us.
