Learning took flight at LARC during National Paper Airplane Day! Individuals explored the history of aviation, how airplanes stay in the air, and the science behind flight through videos and worksheets. Then came the fun part, designing and testing their own paper airplanes across campus while building creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning skills.

From storm debris to something beautiful
LARC’s talented Woodshop individuals are handcrafting one-of-a-kind orchid baskets using wood recovered from Fort Myers Beach after Hurricane Ian. Turning what was once unwanted into meaningful creations with purpose and skill.

A huge thank you to the South Florida Red Cross for the generous donation of a Starlink and mobile phone charging station to LARC, just in time for hurricane season. These resources will help us stay connected, prepared, and ready to support the individuals we serve when it matters most. We are grateful for partners who help strengthen our community before the storm.
