What a great start to Fourth of July weekend. Freedom to choose restorative yoga. Supported stillness.
A gentle style of yoga that promotes deep relaxation and recovery.

Some of its benefits include:

* Reducing stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system.
* Improving sleep quality.
* Releasing muscle tension without intense stretching.
* Supporting recovery after exercise or illness.
* Increasing flexibility gradually through prolonged, supported poses.

When could you use restorative yoga? EVERY THURSDAY 6pm

Another Wellness basket delivered to our sister grieving a family member. Karen.

We all grieve differently. The one thing we all need is support. To know and feel loved , supported on good days and carried on bad days. It’s not anything big, it’s lots of little personal things that make a BIG impact. It’s not about words, it’s about being present. It lets others know I’m here for you, I care about you, I’m here to listen.

A great time was had by all.
Our monthly brunch and bunch was full of delicious food, crafting, painting and bracelet making.
Something the Center offers monthly for community time together.
Today was art therapy…

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative activities—such as drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, or other visual arts—to help people express emotions, process experiences, and improve mental well-being.

Julys brunch and bunch will offer sour dough starter and the benefit it brings us to eat more healthy. And….some nutrition therapy.

Meditation this week has been on control.
We can only control ourselves, yet we still try to control others, outcomes, future events……..

Sometimes we just need to shut down, enter into stillness, to find a place to rest. Allow the silence to create this space.

To not react to “expectation”, of ourselves and definitely not others. This breeds cynicism. To release limits. And set boundaries.

May you find yourself in a still, quiet place this weekend to reset. To gather your thoughts and process where you are.
To gather strength to move forward.

And when you feel ready, gently open your eyes, set your sights. Move forward in love.
