At American Medical Group, we are proud to spotlight Nikkole Town, a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who brings extensive clinical experience and a patient-centered approach to gastroenterology care.

Nikkole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Cum Laude from Florida State University, before completing a dual Masterโ€™s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.

Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nikkole brings a diverse clinical background spanning gastroenterology, emergency medicine, and trauma care. Her experience allows her to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care while focusing on digestive health, prevention, and patient education.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Nikkole is passionate about making healthcare accessible and ensuring every patient feels heard, informed, and supported.

We are happy to announce that all American Medical Group locations have power restored and are open during their normal business hours.

We are pleased to announce that almost all American Medical Group locations will resume normal operating hours on Monday following the recent hurricane.

The following location remains without power and will be closed on Monday:

Important Update Regarding Our Infusion Clinics ๐Ÿ“ข

Please note that all American Medical Group infusion clinics will be open tomorrow, Sunday with normal weekend hours, to serve our patients, except for our Pensacola location.

Our Pensacola location remains without power due to the recent hurricane and will stay closed until further notice. We are working hard to reopen as soon as power is restored and will keep you updated.

๐ŸŒŸ PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT: ANATOLIY KORZHUK, MD

American Medical Group is pleased to spotlight Anatoliy Korzhuk, MD, a physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Korzhuk completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, following his Internal Medicine residency at UPMC Harrisburg. He also served as Chief Resident of Quality and Safety at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, where he participated in multiple initiatives focused on improving patient care, care coordination, and clinical outcomes.

His clinical training includes advanced pulmonary and critical care procedures such as robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), cryobiopsy, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and critical care management.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Korzhuk has an extensive background in clinical research and quality improvement. He has served as a sub-investigator on multiple Phase 3 clinical trials and has contributed to research involving lung cancer diagnosis, COPD, respiratory failure, COVID-19, and other pulmonary and critical care topics. His work has also been published and presented through organizations and publications including CHEST, the American Thoracic Society, BMJ Open, and the Journal of Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology.

Dr. Korzhuk brings advanced training, a strong research background, and a commitment to improving the quality of care for patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions.
