📢 Tonight's the night! 📢

We're feeling energized and ready for a night of great conversations with the Panhandle Women's Project and Florida District 1's Democratic Congressional Candidate Gay Valimont.

Come with an open mind. Come with curiosity. Come decided or undecided. All are welcome and will have a seat at the table.

⏰ Here's a reminder of the schedule:
6-6:30: arrive and order your food
6:30-8: hear short speeches from us and the Panhandle Women's Project. Then the floor will turn over to Gay Valimont.

Friends! Along with The Panhandle Womens Project we will be hosting a Period Packing Party!

Spots are limited to 15 people so please RSVP as soon as possible! The EventBrite RSVP link is in our bio.

What We’re Doing:
We will be assembling period kits for students and others in need and decorating drop boxes! We will also be assembling menstrual, reproductive, and abortion rights materials (these materials will NOT be distributed in school).

September 5th, 12-2pm

Beyond Expectations (74 3rd St, Shalimar, FL, 32579)

Admission:
1 period product (but we won’t turn anyone away without one)!

Food:
The Golf Club Restaurant and Sport’s Bar is sponsoring food!

📢 Crestview, your next pantry is here! 📢

Emerald Coast Period Pantry has officially expanded to Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless.

📍120 Duggan Ave, Crestview, FL 32536

This pantry is here to support anyone in the community. If you’d like to give, feel free to leave period products inside the pantry. If the pantry is full, bring donations inside the shelter. Please do not leave items outside the pantry.

Period poverty often goes unspoken , especially for our kids. A Florida survey of middle and high school female students shows just how real the issue is:

🩸 41% missed school because of their periods
🩸 53% missed school due to inadequate supplies
🩸 58% didn’t have enough products at home this year
🩸 37% relied on others monthly for period supplies
🩸 14% missed school specifically due to period poverty

Talking about periods is talking about dignity, and our kids deserve that conversation.
