Students met PSM athletic trainers, sports physical therapists, strength & conditioning coaches, and members of our marketing team. Parkview Sports Medicine and the Parkview Health Foundation are humbled to play in part in the annual Kindness for Carter Day Today, October 6. Kindness for Carter Day is an annual celebration of Carter’s legacy and the impact he made on the people around him. Instead of mourning, the Fleck family have chosen to honor his legacy by performing acts of kindness every October 6th on his birthday, large or small, for others. Because THAT is what Carter would have done.

Carter was a loyal friend and had the ability to see people others looked past. One young lady attended his funeral to say good bye - not because they were good friends, but because he was always kind to her when others ignored her or were unkind.

Each year, Parkview Sports Medicine awards the Carter Fleck Memorial Scholarship as part of the Albright Gemlick Scholarships. The Carter Fleck Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a nominee who demonstrates exceptional character.

Parkview Sports Medicine and the Parkview Health Foundation collaboratively challenge you to perform an extra act of kindness today, October 6th, for Carter. Share your pictures with us and we will share them on our social media channels! Parkview Sports Medicine

To honor Carter’s memory, please consider a donation to the Albright Gemlick Scholarship in his name.
