Donovan is doing well and his 6month biopsy came back good! Looking forward to more fun times, he’s had a great summer and here are some pics! He’s such a happy boy! He has grown so much since winter it’s crazy! Thanks for all your love and support!

This is a great group that helps protect Donors Rights through advocacy and legislation. This group operates the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program, also known as the nation’s blood and marrow registry, Check it out if your looking for a cause or group to support! They mainly work with blood and bone marrow diseases, but push for things like more insurance coverage, guaranteed time off work without losing a job. Great things!

Donovan got to come home today!
We have a huge year ahead of us, but we are now sleeping in our own beds 6/7 days a week! Back to Cincy 2x a week for a while now, but yay! (Any volunteers to drive with mom?)

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and support. Donovan had one of the shortest wait times for a deceased donor because of how his condition was escalating and his age.

I want to thank everyone who applied to be his living donor, I don’t know who you are, but I appreciate you!

We will continue spreading the word about being a living kidney donor and how life-changing it is for everyone involved. 

Prayers for all our friend at the Ronald McDonald House, what you’re going through is so hard 😔 I won’t stop thinking of you all, your children, your families, you are doing all the things and I see you, your kids are so lucky to have you!

When we settle into this new normal, we can start posting again, thank you everyone!

The Ronald McDonald House Cincinnati provided a wonderful Thanksgiving meal today and we are so thankful for that!

It happened! Sorry for the late notice but we’ve been very busy!

Donovan is out of the ICU today and going to the regular floor 🙂

Thanks for all the love and prayers! There’s still a long road ahead and lots could go wrong….but we’re going to navigate it the best we can and will keep you posted!

Donovan got admitted to the hospital last night, he has an infection that may harm his kidney. Depending on test results he may have to stay a second night. They finally let him eat today at noon so that made him smile :) Please keep him in your thoughts and keep spreading the word!
