Life lately at Pure Abilities! 🤘 From trips to the farm to getting outside for a game of bocce ball, our recreational therapists and direct support professionals are always finding ways to make the most of each day. It’s all about focusing on our goals, learning, building connections with our peers, and making the most of each day. Enjoy!

🎉 Huge progress worth celebrating!

When Matt first started working with our recreational therapist, Candace, he could only take about 13 steps with significant assistance. After two years of consistent hard work and small steps forward, Matt is now walking on the treadmill for 12 minutes with very little assistance! 💙

We’re incredibly proud of Matt and all the work he’s put in to reach this milestone. A big shoutout to our Recreational Therapist, Candace, for her dedication, encouragement, and the amazing work she does to help our clients reach their goals! 👏 This is why Recreational Therapy and our services are so important for our community. Keep up the great work!

We had a great time at the Down Syndrome Indiana Buddy Walk Indianapolis! 💙 Always a fun day celebrating our friends with Down syndrome and everything that makes them amazing. 💛 Shoutout to our recreational therapist Claire for choreographing an awesome performance by our Dance Abilities team! 👏 Already looking forward to next year!

A little llama time goes a long way! 🦙 Our clients had a great time with Project: Llama Smile at Hamilton County Llamas. From petting to walking the llamas, it was a fun way to build confidence, encourage social interaction, and get active. We’ll definitely be back!
