Shin pain is not always just a shin problem.
When the lower leg gets stiff and loses its ability to adapt to load, the body often starts compensating up the chain. That can change how force moves through the ankle, knee, hips, and even the low back.
In this video I’m working the tissues around the tibia and fibula, including the interosseous membrane, plus the surrounding muscles and fascia. That membrane helps stabilize the two bones and helps distribute load between them during movement.
For athletes, the goal is simple 👇
Restore better motion and load sharing in the lower leg
So your stride, landing, and push off feel smoother and less jammed 🏃♂️
If you’re dealing with shin pain, shin splints, or recurring lower leg tightness, this kind of work can be a helpful piece of the puzzle alongside smart training and recovery 🧩
