Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, husbands, and father figures who have given so much love, wisdom, and strength to those around them. 💙

At Journey Hospice, it was a privilege to honor these special men with smiles, treats, fellowship, and moments made just for them. We believe every day is an opportunity to show love, but Father’s Day reminds us to pause and celebrate the lives, stories, and legacies that make each dad so treasured.

Wishing a *Happy Father’s Day* to those we are blessed to care for, to the fathers who are deeply missed, and to the families who lovingly carry their memories forward. 👨👴🏻

Please join us in welcoming Chris Ibarra as the new Executive Director at Clear Fork Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Chris has been a longtime friend of Overture Home Care and previously served as President of the TAGS Board alongside members of our team. We are excited to see all he will accomplish in this new role and look forward to continuing our partnership.

“I don’t have time for chitchat!” 🏁🤣

That was the quote of the day during a morning walk with one of our patients and her hospice CNA, and it gave us all a good laugh.

At Journey Hospice, some of the sweetest moments aren’t found in a care plan - they’re found in shared laughter, fresh air, meaningful companionship, and the unique personalities that make each patient so special. 🥰

These are the moments we treasure.

There’s something special about the way music reaches people. 💙🎶

One of the most special parts of hospice is witnessing the ways people continue to give of themselves, even after walking through their own loss.

After we had the privilege of caring for his wife on hospice in 2024, this wonderful gentleman felt called to serve others through the gift of music. He sought out Journey Hospice and has since been sharing his talent with our patients, bringing smiles, memories, comfort, and connection wherever he goes.

Music has a unique way of speaking directly to the soul. It can bring back treasured memories, spark a smile, calm anxiety, and provide comfort when words simply aren't enough.

We are so grateful for volunteers like him whose kindness and servant's heart make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and families.

Moments like these remind us that love has a way of continuing on - sometimes in the form of a familiar song. 🎵💙
