"Before Flow Therapy he couldn't stand for longer than a few minutes before having to sit down. Now he can work in the yard and garden with mini breaks." (Wife of patient)

Your gardening days aren't over. Flow Therapy gets you back doing the things you've always enjoyed, with the people you've always loved.

"One person caring about another represents life's greatest value." (Jim Rohn)

At Flow Therapy, we see this every day in the room. It's not just the treatment; it's the person checking on you session after session, remembering how you take your coffee, noticing when something's off. Flow Therapy patients often say that part matters just as much as the therapy itself.

The science behind Flow Therapy, explained by a cardiologist.

EECP works by increasing pressure and flow through your blood vessels, which trains the lining of those vessels (the endothelium) to produce more nitric oxide, the substance your body already uses to relax and open them up.

Dr. Mo puts it simply: Flow Therapy is a natural bypass. You're tapping into a reserve your own body already has.

Q&A with our Clinic Director at Flow Therapy.

Q: I had a stent or bypass years ago. Can I still get Flow Therapy?

A: In most cases, yes, and these patients often see some of the strongest results. Flow Therapy is commonly used for people whose chest pain or symptoms come back even after a stent or bypass procedure. If your procedure was recent, our medical team will review the timing with you, but for most people, a past procedure doesn't rule out treatment.

Tarah Helms is back doing Orange Theory regularly, and she'll tell you Flow Therapy is a big reason why.

She came to Flow Therapy dealing with angina, shortness of breath, and a squeezing sensation in her chest that made even talking feel like effort. Her diagnosis: microvascular dysfunction, blood vessels too constricted to get oxygenated blood to her heart. A couple of months into treatment with medication alone, she still had some breakthrough symptoms, so her doctor added Flow Therapy to round things out.

"The medication and Flow Therapy really have brought it all together. I feel fantastic." She drives an hour each way for her sessions and says it's easily worth it. 35 sessions later, Tarah says the staff made all the difference.

Q&A with our Clinic Director.

Q: Is EECP like cardiac rehab?

A: Not quite, and that's actually what makes them work so well together. Cardiac rehab is active exercise. EECP is passive exercise. Flow Therapy patients often use EECP as a primer for cardiac rehab, since it helps build energy and blood flow before starting a more active program.

If your provider has you on a cardiac rehab plan already, that's not a reason to rule out EECP. It's actually one of the more common combinations we see.

Bypass surgery and stents can work well, but sometimes symptoms come back anyway. That's exactly when Flow Therapy becomes a great option to explore. EECP helps strengthen the body's own microvasculature and enhance its natural bypass system, building on whatever treatment a patient has already had.

"You can't really be present for the people in your life if you aren't taking care of yourself." — Kerry Washington

That's the whole idea behind treatment at Flow Therapy. Taking care of your heart isn't separate from showing up for your family; it's what makes showing up possible.

Mary, 68, finished her Flow Therapy sessions just in time for an Alaskan cruise, and she was thrilled about how much walking she'd be able to do once she got there.

"I feel like me, and I don't feel depressed. I have my smile back!"

That's the kind of trip-ready energy we love to hear about.
