The older I get, the more I realize how little being “rich” has to do with what’s in your bank account.

A family I get to put first.
Work that feels meaningful.
The privilege of caring for others.
And a life rooted in Jesus.

There is so much richness in this life of mine—and I’m so grateful for it. 🌿

“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” James 1:17

If the toys are everywhere by the end of your child’s session… chances are, it went exactly as planned. 😂

A CFT session with a child doesn’t always look like lying quietly on a table for 30 minutes.

Sometimes we’re on the floor. Sometimes we’re playing. Sometimes we take breaks, change positions, or follow their lead around the room—all while finding opportunities to work.

Because your child doesn’t need to sit perfectly still or “cooperate” for us to have a productive session.

My goal is to meet them where they are, help them feel safe and comfortable, and let them be a kid while we work together. ✨

So if you’ve ever thought, “There’s no way my child will lie still for a session…”

Don’t worry. They don’t have to. ❤️

Hey mama… baby doesn’t get to have all the fun. 😉🐟

The guppy pose is one of my favorite stretches to recommend for little ones—but adults can try it too!

From a fascial perspective, think about how much time we spend folded forward: nursing or bottle feeding, rocking babies, carrying kiddos, scrolling, driving… motherhood involves a LOT of looking down. 😅

Guppy pose gently takes your body in the opposite direction, creating an opportunity to open through the front of the neck, chest, and shoulders while allowing the tissues to lengthen and relax.

The key word here is gentle. Fascial work isn’t about forcing your body into a stretch. Get supported, let gravity do the work, breathe, and give your body time to soften into it.

So next time you’re doing guppy pose with your little one… maybe mama needs a turn too. 🩷

Save this one to try later—and send it to a mama whose neck and shoulders could use a little love!

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself around here, and there are quite a few new faces, so I figured it was time!

Before becoming a fascial therapist, I spent years as a NICU nurse caring for some of the tiniest babies and walking alongside their families during some incredibly vulnerable moments. That experience shaped so much of who I am and eventually led me down a completely different—but very connected—path.

Now, I get to support babies, children, and adults through gentle fascial work, and I truly love getting to know the families who walk through my door. There’s something pretty special about helping people feel more comfortable and at ease in their bodies.

Outside of the treatment room, I’m a wife, boy mom x3, follower of Jesus, slightly obsessive gardener, Dallas Stars fan, and apparently the kind of person who somehow ends up with 20 chickens. 😂

Divine Unwind has grown so much since I first started, and I’m incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted me, referred a friend, shared a post, or simply followed along.

So whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re brand new—hi! I’m so glad you’re here!

And now I want to know something about you—tell me a random fact about yourself in the comments! 👇

Before becoming a CFT practitioner, I had the privilege of caring for some of the tiniest patients and their families as a NICU nurse.

I witnessed firsthand the strength, love, and incredible resilience these families carry through some of their hardest days.

This September, I’m sending a little extra love to every NICU baby, parent, family, and caregiver — past and present. Your story matters, and your strength deserves to be honored. 🤍

✨Get to know me! ✨

I worked as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit for several years. After experiencing difficulty with breastfeeding with both of my boys, I began researching what could be the root cause of these issues. This led to my discovery of craniosacral fascial therapy, and the fire in my belly was lit! 🔥
The strain on the fascial web that runs throughout our entire bodies contributes to many health problems that both children and adults experience. With my training, I have seen infants sleep better, have regular bowels movements, reduced irritability, improved latch and so much more! Adults that I have worked with have reported increased mobility, decreased discomfort, and even emotional trauma release!

In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three boys, tending to our garden and taking care of our 20 chickens!

If you’ve been told “it’s supposed to hurt”…
I want you to hear this:

Yes—there can be some tenderness at first.
But ongoing pain is not something you just have to accept.

Your baby may have tension affecting their latch—
and there is gentle help available. 🤍

If you’re in the thick of this, I’m here for you—
reach out or book a session when you’re ready.

These photos were taken just two sessions apart — and you can see the difference 🤍

We still have a little way to go, but this baby’s body is already releasing so beautifully through gentle CFT.

I’m so grateful to this mama for trusting me and for allowing me to share her little one’s progress. 🌿
