The Purple Chair Takes Over 7th Street! πŸ’œ

Today we traded hair dryers for game show buzzers and spent some much needed time together outside the salon. From lunch at Social House to competing at the Game Show Experience, there was no shortage of laughs, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments.

As much as we love creating beautiful hair, days like today remind us that the heart of The Purple Chair is the people. We are incredibly grateful for this team, the friendships we've built, and the opportunity to grow together every day.

Every salon has that one person who quietly keeps everything running behind the scenes. The one who doesn't always end up in the photos or receive the recognition they deserve, but without them, everything would be a whole lot harder.

At The Purple Chair, that person is Courtney. πŸ’œ

She's the first smiling face that greets you when you walk through our doors, the voice on the phone helping you schedule appointments, and the person making sure your experience is seamless from start to finish.

She's our front desk, our barista, our DJ, our organizer, our decorator, and our problem solver all rolled into one.

When the salon is spotless, that's Courtney. When the coffee bar is stocked, that's Courtney. When the holiday decorations appear, that's Courtney. When your appointment runs smoothly, that's Courtney. When one of us needs help, that's Courtney.

She works tirelessly behind the scenes to create the warm, welcoming atmosphere our clients have come to love. While our stylists are focused on making hair dreams come true, Courtney is focused on making sure every detail of your visit feels special.

What many people don't see is just how much she genuinely cares. She cares about our clients, our team, and this salon as if it were her own. She celebrates our successes, helps us through challenges, and somehow keeps us all organized in the middle of the daily chaos.

A Proud Mom Moment πŸ’œ

If you've been to The Purple Chair over the last couple years, chances are you've met Jade.

She's been the shampoo tech making sure your scalp massage was just right, the admin and payroll behind the scenes, and quite honestly, everyone's favorite shampoo tech. ✨

Today, I'm incredibly proud to officially welcome her as a licensed cosmetologist and the newest stylist at The Purple Chair Salon & Spa. βœ‚οΈπŸŽ‰

As her mom, it's hard to put into words what this moment means. I've watched her work for this, learn from it, and fall in love with this industry. She put in the hours, completed her education, passed her licensing exam, and earned her place behind the chair.

Now it's time for her next chapter.

While she'll always be my baby girl, I'm excited for all of you to get to know her as a stylist and watch her build a career of her own.
