Ever heard of THCV?

Here's something a lot of people don't know: THCV is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It's not the same thing as THC, and despite the similar name, the two can interact with the body's cannabinoid receptors in different ways. 🧬

THCV has a unique pharmacological profile and researchers are still figuring out exactly how its effects translate to humans. That's part of what makes the lesser-known cannabinoids so fascinating.

And here's where there's a LOT of misunderstanding:

“Cannabinoid” doesn't automatically mean “synthetic.”

Cannabinoids can be naturally produced by the cannabis plant (phytocannabinoids), naturally produced by our own bodies (endocannabinoids), or made in a laboratory (synthetic cannabinoids).

THCV? It occurs naturally in cannabis.

There's a whole world of cannabinoids beyond THC and CBD. 🔬🌿

We're looking to host more events at California Cookies, and we'd love your input!
We already have movie nights coming back, and we've also heard interest in board game nights (Monopoly, Catan, and more), Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, karaoke, and other community events.
