A message from Lindsey to her clients:
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the patience and flexibility you’ve shown me over the last 6 weeks while I’ve been out! I am feeling great and looking forward to getting back behind the chair in just two short weeks. I miss my work friends and clients who have become like family, and can't wait to catch up and hear what everyone’s been up to these last two months!
With that said, being able to be home with my family and devote my focus to my very busy household has been a blessing, and has provided an opportunity to reevaluate our schedules going forward. After careful consideration, I’ve made the decision to work only daytime hours, ending my day no later than 3pm. While I am excited about this change in schedule and the opportunity to spend more time with my family, I understand and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause my clients who prefer evening hours.
With most people having much more job flexibility these days, many people working entirely remotely, I am hopeful to still be able to find a time for my evening clients to make appointments with me. I invite anyone who is able to bring laptops and work materials to the salon and work from the chair while getting your hair done! In fact, many clients have already been taking advantage of that option and its actually become a common practice.
Thankful doesn't quite explain the feelings I have for both Heidi and Kalyn for picking up all the missing pieces with me out. Both have already extended their hours to max capacity, to create space for my clients and accommodate everybody in the interim. I am so appreciative they were both willing and able to take time from their clients and families to help me, but unfortunately it isn’t sustainable for them in the long run. With full clienteles of their own, they will not be able to accommodate many of my clients who are unable to make a daytime appointment work.
To help mitigate this and create space for everybody here at Bloom, I am hoping to add a new stylist to our team to help cover night and weekend hours.
