At the 20th anniversary celbration, students from LHIP Health Coach Program graduated. All the Graduates received certificates from the hands of LHIP CEO and Founder, Dr. Milagros Abreu, MD, MPH and DTA Commissioner, Michael Cole. This program is funded in part for the SNAP Path to work program, and it is available to the Massachusetts residents. The presentation of certificates was followed by the rest of the celebration, which included assistance to multiple services and delicious food provided from partners from Panera Bread, Chick Fil A, and Terra Brazilis. The event was concluded with a raffle, and the LHIP cut cake ceremony.

What a beautiful day at the Framingham Farmers Market! LHIP celebrated its 20th anniversary! We accounted with Massachusetts distinguished guests, such as the DTA Commissioner, Michael Cole, and DTA Director Lorraine Ward in the picture with Dr Milagros Abreu in the center. Among other special guests included The Mayor from the City of Framingham, Charlie Sisitsky, Regional Director from the Senate President, Karen Spilka, Joseph Russo, and Rep Priscila Souza, among others. They all shared congratulations and important remarks about LHIP work, and joined Milagros Abreu, MD, MPH and LHIP on this special day team. Thank you to all that came.

This milestone reflects the extraordinary vision, leadership, and commitment of Dr. Milagros Abreu, whose work has expanded access to health care, health insurance, food and nutrition resources, and trusted community support for individuals and families across the Commonwealth.

We are proud to partner with Dr. Abreu on quality improvement efforts and grateful for her service on the Northeast CMS Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization Executive Leadership Council. We were honored to celebrate this important milestone with Dr. Abreu, the LHIP team, and the community. Looking forward to the next 20!

Hace 20 años nació una misión con un propósito muy claro: ayudar a nuestra comunidad a tener acceso a servicios de salud y recursos que mejoraran su calidad de vida.
