(FUAA) announces the recipients of their 2024 grants program with awards to the following MetroWest organizations: A Place to Turn, Agassiz Village, Bethany Hill Place, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest, Charles River Center, Dignity Matters , Family Promise Metrowest, Golden Tones Inc., Holliston Police Dept, HOPE Framingham Food Pantry, JFS of Metrowest, MetroWest Free Medical Program, Metrowest YMCA, Ovations for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer, Project Just Because, Inc, Saint Cecelia Parish, Saint Matthew Church and Saint Vincent de Paul/Saint Matthias Parish.

The FUAA grants fund education and/or services in the field of healthcare; research in the field of healthcare; and improving public health and/or social services. Since 1998, FUAA has awarded over $1.4 million in grants for MetroWest healthcare programs.

The Framingham Union Aid Association, Inc. announces the recipients of their 2021 healthcare-related grants program with awards to the following MetroWest organizations: A Place to Turn, Bethany Hill Place, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest, Charles River Center, Dignity Matters, Family Promise Metrowest , Friends of the Holliston Community Farm, Golden Tones Inc., Holliston Police Department, HOPE Framingham Food Pantry, MetroWest Free Medical Program, Metrowest YMCA, Natick Service Council, Ovations for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer, Project Just Because, Inc. and Saint Vincent de Paul Conference St. Matthias Parish.

Melissa Ford, president, said “Since our founding in 1892, FUAA has been involved in many hospital-based and community activities. Our fundraising events help to subsidize our annual grant awards program. Since 1998, we have awarded over $1.4 million, and we continue that tradition with this year’s awards to these very worthy organizations.”

We would also like to thank our grants committee members: Heather Scaringella, Leslie Elkins, Margi Ryder, Aparna Kumar, Ginny Bates and Noreen Bigelow for their work in reviewing the grants this year. Here we present the grant to the Friends of the Holliston Community Farm for the purchase of a portable hand wash station which will be used at farmers markets and other events.
