Four nominations. Four awards. One incredible night for Clinton County EMS🏆
We are incredibly proud to share that Clinton County EMS and three members of our team were recognized at the Indiana Fire & EMS Leadership Conference by the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association:
🏆 ALS Provider of the Year – Clinton County EMS
🏆 EMT of the Year – Lily Boles
🏆 Paramedic of the Year – Tim Grandstaff
🏆 Medical Director of the Year – Dr. Nathan Marcinkowski
There is a lot to be proud of here.
Lily represents the future of EMS and what can happen when we invest in young people and give them an opportunity to succeed. Tim represents the importance of never becoming comfortable with where you are as a clinician and continuing to learn, grow, and lead. Dr. Marcinkowski represents what medical direction should be. He is involved, accessible, progressive, and always willing to show up for our students, providers, and our patients.
And being named ALS Provider of the Year is a reflection of our entire team.
Over the past several years, CCEMS has changed tremendously. We have built our own paramedic education program, invested heavily in advanced and critical-care education, introduced new technology and clinical capabilities, and continually challenged ourselves to improve the care we provide to Clinton County.
We have never been afraid to set ambitious goals for a rural EMS service or to challenge what others believe a department our size should be capable of accomplishing.
None of that happens because of a piece of equipment or a protocol. It happens because of the people who come to work every day willing to learn, improve, hold each other accountable, and take care of their community.
Four awards. One team. And a pretty special night for Clinton County EMS.
Our goal has never been to simply uphold a standard of care, but to continually uphold a standard of excellence.
Congratulations to Lily, Tim, Dr. Marcinkowski, and the entire CCEMS team. This one belongs to all of you.
