‼️Clinton County EMS Blood Drive Tomorrow!!! 🚑🩸

Clinton County EMS is proud to now carry low-titer O positive whole blood in the prehospital setting! We are dedicated to bringing hospital-level trauma care directly to our patients before they ever reach an emergency room.

For patients suffering from severe traumatic bleeding, blood saves lives. Not later. Not at the hospital. Immediately. For every one minute delay in blood administration, mortality increases by 2%.

We are proud to partner with Eskenazi Health and Versiti Blood Center to host a community blood drive and help support the availability of this critical resource for patients throughout our region.

📅 Date: Tuesday August 18th
⏰ Time: 3 pm - 7 pm
📍 Location: Clinton County EMS Headquarters
👉 Sign up here: https://donateblood.versiti.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/11644215

Whether it’s trauma, surgery, cancer treatment, or medical emergencies, donated blood saves lives every single day.

If you’re able, we’d encourage you to consider donating and helping support patients both in our community and across Indiana.

🚑🎉 Congratulations to Joshua Halstead, CCP-C! 🎉🚑

We’re proud to announce that Paramedic Josh Halstead is now a Board-Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) through the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).

Josh is well established in the EMS community as a leader and an excellent clinician. He brings calm and certainty to stressful situations. Josh has a competitive spirit and he strives to be the best provider that he can be. He doesn’t shy away from a challenge and elevates all of those around him. He was a tremendous addition to our team in 2025 and now serves as the shift supervisor for A shift.

The CCP-C is an international board certification and one of the most respected credentials in critical care transport medicine. The exam is known for its rigor and low pass rates, meaning only a small percentage of paramedics nationwide ever earn this designation. Achieving board certification reflects advanced mastery of critical care medicine, physiology, pharmacology, ventilator management, and high-acuity clinical decision-making.

This accomplishment reflects Josh’s dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence in patient care. We’re proud to have him on our team and how he pushes us to be better.

Please join us in congratulating Josh on this outstanding achievement 👏
Well earned and well deserved.
