Liz Kelchak-Steffes was introduced to acupuncture at the young age of 15 while suffering from migraines.

LK Acupuncture LLC is a Traditional Chinese medical clinic which includes: Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Moxibustion, Fire Cupping, Gua Sha, and personalized dietary recommendations. After 4 acupuncture sessions she never had one again. Seeing the benefits acupuncture brought to her and her family Liz knew this would be her dream career. Liz continued to work in the acupuncture field while she achie

ved her Associates degree in Biology from Purdue; followed by 4 years of Chinese Medical School at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago where she received her Master’s degree in Science and Oriental medicine. Liz trained in Shanghai, China working in Traditional Chinese medical hospitals expanding her education in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas. Liz’s mission is to help restore health without the use of drugs or surgery. Liz has experience in treating anything from pain, infertility, emotional issues, digestive issues, to internal organ dysfunction.

✨Meet Lauren-Associate Acupuncturist
We are so excited to have Lauren join our team!

✨Lauren is a licensed, board certified acupuncturist and NCBAHM Diplomate of Acupuncture. Lauren obtained her Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, IL, and has a background studying Chinese Herbology at Dongguk University in Los Angeles, CA. While obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Lauren personally experienced the healing powers of acupuncture and was inspired to provide this medicine to others.

✨Lauren is passionate about helping her patients live a more fulfilling life by supporting their physical and emotional health with Chinese medicine. She has experience treating a variety of ailments, including but not limited to digestive issues, anxiety, depression, pain, genitourinary dysfunction, cold/flu symptoms, insomnia, and women’s health.

✨Since moving from Southern California to New Lenox, Lauren has balanced school and personal life. She has two beautiful daughters, Emma and Dani, and plans with her husband for more kids. In her free time, Lauren enjoys horseback riding, catching up with friends and family, and being out in nature. Eventually, she plans to get her barn up and running with chickens, horses, and maybe a miniature highland cow or two!

✨What an honor to be featured on the cover of Women of Impact.

I chose this profession because I experienced firsthand how life-changing it was to finally find healing. Since then, my only hope has been to help others experience that same feeling. Being recognized for simply doing what I love is incredible and humbling.

I’m also so honored to be featured alongside so many inspiring women from across the country who are making a difference in their communities and beyond.
