When creating a baby registry, it’s easy to focus on the things you’ll need for your baby.

But what about the things you’ll need?

The truth is, some of the most valuable postpartum essentials can’t be added to a registry.

💛 Support
🌼 Healing
🌮 Meals
🤱 Lactation Help
🫶 A Village

A text message. A meal dropped off at your door. Someone to hold the baby while you shower. A trusted professional to answer your feeding questions.

These are the things that help parents feel cared for, supported, and less alone during the postpartum period.

If you’re expecting, don’t be afraid to ask for help. And if you love someone who is expecting, consider giving the gift of support.

Which one would have made the biggest difference for you postpartum? Drop a comment ⬇️

Ending your breastfeeding era just in time for summer (•)(•)

One b**b fully deflated.
The other not far behind.
And your kid making sure you’re aware of it every single day.

You’ve been gifted a ton of bottles that don’t pass the triangle test… now what? 👀🍼

You might not need to replace the whole bottle.

You can often just swap the ni**le instead!

The Evenflo Wide Neck Balance is a favorite of ours 👏 and here we paired it with:
• Chicco Duo
• MAM
• Spectra
• Avent Natural

And they fit beautifully 🙌

⚠️ Keep in mind: changing the ni**le may also change the flow rate, so always monitor baby during feeds and make adjustments if needed.

So before you toss those gifted bottles aside — or if you really want to use your glass bottles — try this first. You won’t regret it 💛

Not all pacifiers are created equal!

We recommend choosing pacifiers with a more rounded, gradually sloped shape that:
• Helps promote a deeper latch
• Supports natural tongue movement and tongue cupping
• Encourages more functional sucking patterns

We try to avoid flatter or more angled ni**le shapes that may encourage a shallow latch or increased chomping patterns.

As IBCLCs, we typically recommend introducing a pacifier once breastfeeding is well established and feeding is going smoothly — though every baby and family is unique 💛

Comment PACIFIERS below and we’ll send over some of our favorite picks for babies

✨ 3 breastfeeding tips every expecting mom should know

1. Find a lactation consultant before baby arrives — having support lined up ahead of time can make all the difference in those first few days postpartum.
2. Learn how to hand express before delivery — it’s an incredibly helpful skill for supporting milk supply, relieving engorgement, and collecting colostrum.
3. Don’t wait until you’re struggling to ask for help — breastfeeding support can be helpful at any stage of your journey.

✨World Human Milk Donation Day ✨

Observed annually on May 19th, this day raises global awareness about the critical need for donated breast milk and honors the mothers who provide life-saving nourishment to premature and medically fragile infants.

I feel incredibly honored to have donated 112 ounces to to help support babies and families in need. Every ounce truly makes a difference, and I’m so grateful to have been able to give back in this way.

I was not an oversupplier by any means, but I was able to collect and save milk here and there to donate. I only made one donation, but I feel so honored that I was able to help another baby and family. 💛

No kids.
No snack requests.
No diaper bag.
But the milk bar is still open 😂🍼🌊
