🚨 Public Health Update for Virginia 🚨
Virginia has reported 77 measles cases so far in 2026, with nearly all cases occurring in people who were unvaccinated or had unknown vaccination status.
As summer travel and large events ramp up, health officials are also encouraging awareness of travel-related illnesses, including measles, malaria, dengue, and other infectious diseases.

✔️ Make sure routine vaccines are up to date
✔️ Practice good hand hygiene
✔️ Talk to your healthcare provider before international travel
✔️ Seek medical care if you develop fever, rash, or other concerning symptoms after travel
