I am so excited to finally introduce the newest therapist at Well Heart, Elijah Davis. Every once in a while I meet a clinician early in their career and just know that they have something special; Elijah is one of those therapists!
Even at the beginning of his professional journey, Elijah brings a depth, thoughtfulness, warmth, and clinical intuition that is incredibly rare. Sitting with Elijah feels like sitting with someone that you have known your whole life. He has a natural ability to make you feel comfortable even in your hardest moments, while also helping you make sense of yourself, your relationships, your family, your faith, and your future.
Elijah works with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families, and has a special passion for helping people navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, identity development, relationship challenges, betrayal and religious trauma. His work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and play therapy. He has a genuine gift for helping people feel welcomed exactly as they are.
Moving from a solo practice to a group practice was an easy decision – I alone could not provide enough! I needed to find a way to give what the community needs, and that is the kind of therapy that truly heals. Providing good therapy means providing incredible therapists; Elijah is exactly that kind of talent, and I feel very fortunate that we are able to bring him onto our team.
If you've been looking for a therapist for yourself, your child, or your family, I encourage you to reach out to me or to him. I have a feeling many people are going to be grateful they found him early. You can contact Elijah directly at [email protected].
Welcome to Well Heart, Elijah. We are so happy you're here. ❤️
