When I was just starting in breastfeeding medicine, I had so many people I looked up to that were involved with the AAP Section on Breastfeeding so when I was looking for leadership opportunities, I joined the Section. Now, this fall, I get to be Chair. It's a bit intimidating, but the people of the Section are so passionate, I think I am going to enjoy the ride.
