As we close out our fiscal year, I want to give a shout out to the staff at No Wrong Door which includes Peer Support Specialists, Social Workers, Drug and Alcohol Counselors and ACS provides us with a Mobile Crisis Employee. They are professional and caring staff who have lived experience and an understanding of what our people are going through. Below are just some of our numbers from this past fiscal year:

•Provided Services to 660 Individuals
•Drove over 37,000 miles taking people to treatment and other locations to get services.
•Served 5000 plus meals to the homeless
•Provided many hours of service in the Macon and Jackson County Detention Centers
• Provided 157 Addiction Classes
•Provided housing for 11 children and their families
•Clothing for 556 people
•And MUCH, MUCH,MUCH MORE

As the Director of NWD I get upset when disgruntled people want to say the staff picks and chooses who they help and that they use derogatory names. The staff keep showing up everyday no matter how many times they get threatened or cursed at, because they care. I think the numbers above show they help everyone that wants it.

Last but definitely not least, none of what we do could happen if not for the wonderful volunteers and ALL the community support. WE THANK YOU!
