🌿💙 September is Healthy Aging Month, a time to celebrate the many ways we can support well-being at every stage of life.

Staying active, connecting with others, enjoying favorite hobbies, eating well, and keeping the mind engaged can all contribute to a fulfilling lifestyle. 🍅🌿 How does your garden grow? Ours is looking great at Sugar Creek Care Center!

Our raised-bed garden in the main courtyard is thriving, and this week we celebrated an exciting milestone: harvesting our very first tomato! Residents have enjoyed watching the garden grow throughout the season, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we’ll harvest next.

🎨✨ Our monthly Craft with Julie brought a few colorful new friends to Sugar Creek Care Center!

Residents spent the day creating their own dragonflies, adding unique details and plenty of personality to each one. We always look forward to seeing what Julie has planned and watching everyone’s creativity come to life!

Immunizations play an important role in protecting people of all ages and helping keep our communities healthy. Staying up to date on recommended vaccines can help reduce the risk of serious illness and protect those who may be more vulnerable.

This month, we encourage everyone to talk with their healthcare provider about recommended immunizations and take steps to support their health and the well-being of those around them.

🎨🖌️ Paint, brushes, and plenty of creativity made for a fun day at Sugar Creek Care Center!

Residents enjoyed working on painting projects, bringing their ideas to life one brushstroke at a time. Each piece reflected a unique style, making the activity a wonderful opportunity to express creativity and enjoy time together.

We always love seeing the imagination our residents bring to every project!
