I was grateful to join Ali on the Lyme Time Podcast for a thoughtful conversation about Induced Native Phage Therapy, or INPT, and what this emerging field may mean for people navigating Lyme disease, chronic infections, mold-related illness, and complex chronic symptoms.
For nearly 30 years, Lyme disease has shaped much of my work — not because I went looking for it, but because patients kept coming in with symptoms, stories, and suffering that deserved deeper answers.
In this interview, we discussed how phages work, how INPT differs from traditional phage therapy, why microbial complexity matters, and why supporting the body after years of illness is just as important as addressing the underlying microbial burden.
My hope is that this conversation gives patients and providers a clearer understanding of what INPT is, what it is not, and why I believe it represents a meaningful shift in how we think about chronic illness care.
Thank you, Ali, for the opportunity to share this work with your audience.
