We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team member to work with our office based staff evaluating and treating sports medicine injuries and concussions. Best description would be a medical assistent, LPN, or nurse. This person will be responsible for the overall checking in patients, being a clinical assistant, answering phones, and coordination of care. The ideal candidate should have prior medical assistant/nursing skills with a year of experience. Plebotomy skills would be preferred. Opportunites for growth within this practice to master sports physicals, learn casting/splinting, apply bracing, and administor x-ray with limited scope. Hourly rate with 35-40 hours per week. Paid Time Off.

COVID-19 recovery can affect athletes with return to sports.

Be cautious with your and your athlete’s return to sports.

Caffeine can lead to higher strain of the heart by increasing your heart rate and blood pressure.

Limit your caffeine intake and avoid “pre-workout” supplements which can have 10 times the recommended caffeine intake.

Covid has been here for 9+ months now....and winter is looming. Mental health issues related to our lock down and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression and other mental health disorders. NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Illness has a 24-hour helpline: 800-950-6264. The relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020.
