The VNA Foundation expressed an interest in exploring the possibility of funding programs through VNA of Venango that would be a direct benefit to members of the Venango County community. VNA identified the frequent occurrence of the need for ongoing bathing assistance for skilled patients after discharge complicated by the lack of immediate available community resources.

The program was presented to the board and approved. The Caring Connection Program will pay for bathing services of VNA patients after discharge from skilled services that meet the criteria for ongoing needs.
