We don’t Have to Do This Alone
Maybe this is the real gift of community:
> We don't have to do this alone.
> We can practice together.
> Rest together.
> Learn together.
> Laugh together.
> Ask questions together.
> Begin again together.

We can witness one another through different seasons of life without needing to fix, compare, or have all the answers.
That's community.
And that's yoga beyond the mat.
As our Bring Your Boo! campaign comes to a close, we're reminded that connection isn't just something nice to add to our practice.
Connection is part of the practice.

💚 Thank you for being part of the Life’sWork community.
Bring your Boo.
Find your Circle.
Keep showing up.
And remember: you have a place here.

Have you spotted our sign on West 7th Street? 👀

If you’ve been wondering what’s happening at our new studio location, we have an update to share!

Progress is continuing! 🎉 We have a fabulous new contractor on-site who has taken on this project with a commitment to excellence and efficiency. We’re excited to see things moving forward!

And, as with all good things, a little patience is still part of the process. 😉

So, what can you expect?

Our hope is to welcome you into our new space after the new year. Until then, we’re continuing to practice together at our current location at 565 East Church Street. We’ll keep you updated as the renovation progresses!

Why are we relocating?

Our new studio will offer easier access and more room to grow, including the ability to welcome larger classes while preserving the intimate, semi-private setting that makes LifesWork special.

We’re not expanding simply to fit more people into a room. We’re creating more space to meet you where you are, support your individual journey, and help you discover greater alignment, ease, and joy.

Because at LifesWork, it’s never just about the practice. It’s about how you feel in your body, how you connect with yourself and others, and how you carry that experience into your life.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home! 💚

Until then, come breathe, move, and rest with us at 565 East Church Street. We’re so glad you’re part of this journey with us!

Oh, we also have new swag!!

There are days when getting to your yoga practice feels easy.
And then there are the days when it takes a heroic amount of intention just to walk through the door.
That’s where community can help.
Not through pressure. Not through perfection. Not through someone asking, “Why haven't you been practicing?”

But through the simple reminder: There is a place waiting for you.

Community creates accountability without taking away your autonomy.
> Sometimes consistency looks like practicing twice a week.
> Sometimes it looks like returning after a month away.
> Sometimes it looks like choosing rest.
> Sometimes it looks like bringing a friend.

💚 Bring Your Boo! and make showing up something you get to share.

In preparation of the return of group aerial practice at Life’swork Yoga , I'm attending an intensive 3-day training with Aviana Aerial Yoga to refresh my practice and expand my repertoire of sequences and intentions.

I look forward to getting in to the new studio space and sharing this practice with you!!

Never tried aerial, that's not a problem. The practice is approvable from every level and every ambition.

Sometimes the best invitation is really simple:
“Come with me.”
> You don't have to explain yoga.
> You don't have to convince someone that they'll love it.
> You don't even have to know whether they're a “yoga person.”
Just invite them to experience it for themselves.

💚 Bring Your Boo!
Bring someone you care about to Life’sWork and share a practice together.
Because sometimes trying something new is easier when someone you know is beside you.
Who would you bring?
Tag them below—or better yet, send them this post. 😉

Yoga is deeply personal.

We arrive with our own body, our own breath, our own questions, and our own lived experience.

But yoga was never meant to be practiced alone.

There’s something powerful about moving alongside other people who are also learning, growing, resting, rebuilding, and beginning again.

Community doesn’t take away from the personal nature of yoga. It deepens it.

💚 This month, we’re celebrating community with our Bring Your Boo! campaign.

Have someone you’ve been meaning to introduce to Life’sWork?

A friend. A partner. A coworker. A sibling. Someone who keeps saying, “I really should try yoga…”

Bring them with you.

And while you’re here, consider joining one of our Circles—a space to reflect, connect, learn, and practice in community.

Yoga may begin on your mat. But so much of the practice happens in relationship.

Who’s your Boo? 💚

October is all about community at Life’sWork, and we’re kicking things off with a simple invitation: Bring someone with you.

Your Boo could be a friend, partner, coworker, sibling, neighbor—or someone who has been curious about yoga but hasn't quite made the leap.
>Maybe they need a place to slow down.
>Maybe they want to move differently.
>Maybe they’re looking for community.
>Or maybe they just need a reason to try something new.

Whatever their reason, you can make the first step a little easier by saying:
“Come to yoga with me.”

Our Bring Your Boo! campaign is a celebration of what happens when we stop practicing alone and start experiencing the practice together.
And this month, we're also inviting you to explore Circle—spaces for reflection, conversation, learning, and connection beyond the mat.

Because yoga isn't only about what happens when we turn inward. Sometimes, the practice is discovering what becomes possible when we connect with others.
💚 So…who’s your Boo?
