BreathTide Kelly Berkley, Corporate Wellness Facilitator. 400hr GPBA Certified Breathwork Facilitator, RYT200 - Founder of BreathTide. Morgantown, WV

Kelly Berkley, the founder of BreathTide, is a passionate breathwork facilitator who discovered the transformative power of breath in her personal healing journey. Her initial interest in breathwork was sparked by her struggle with asthma, which left her unable to take full inhalations. This limitation caused her persistent, low-level anxiety, impacting her daily life and meditation practice. As a

meditator, Kelly understood the significance of the breath in cultivating a calm and centered state of mind. However, her asthma-related breathing difficulties hindered her ability to fully engage in her meditation sessions. Frustrated by this, she embarked on a quest to explore breathwork and its potential for healing. Driven by her desire to find relief from her asthma symptoms, Kelly immersed herself in learning about various breathwork methodologies. She sought guidance from asthma experts specializing in techniques such as Buteyko and Coordinated Breathing. Through these interactions, she gained valuable insights and tools that significantly improved her asthma condition. However, Kelly soon discovered that breathwork offered more than just relief from her asthma. It held the potential to heal on both physiological and psychological levels. Drawing from her background in yoga, she recognized the profound interconnectedness of the mind and body. She understood that our mental state has a direct impact on our physical well-being, regardless of the scale. It was during her exploration of breathwork that Kelly stumbled upon conscious connected circular breathing. This particular technique allowed her to access the healing benefits of breath in a profound and expansive way. Through conscious connected circular breathing, individuals can tap into what lies below the surface and bring deeply held emotions and tensions to our consciousness. Breathwork, in this form, serves as a powerful tool for releasing physical and emotional tightness that may be stored within the body and mind. It provides a safe space for individuals to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. By engaging in conscious connected circular breathing, one can experience a release both mentally and physically, offering an opportunity for deep healing and transformation. Moreover, breathwork enables individuals to rewrite old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve them. It empowers them to create new narratives that align with their authentic selves. Through this process, individuals can break free from limiting beliefs and open themselves up to new possibilities, growth, and expansion. Kelly Berkley's personal journey with breathwork has not only transformed her own life but also inspired her to share this powerful practice with others. As the founder of BreathTide, she is dedicated to supporting individuals on their own breathwork journeys. Through her facilitation, she creates a safe and nurturing space for individuals to explore and harness the healing potential of their breath. In conclusion, Kelly Berkley's personal experience with asthma and her quest for healing led her to discover the profound benefits of breathwork. Through her exploration of various methodologies and her own practice of conscious connected circular breathing, she found relief from her asthma symptoms and a path to healing on multiple levels. Today, as a breathwork facilitator, she is committed to helping others unlock the transformative power of their breath and experience their own journey of healing and growth. Breathwork beyond pranayama. This is a journey inward to discover what lies just under the surface and to take back your power!

Afterward we will share and connect in community with like-minded people. My favorite part is witnessing the beauty of a group co-creating space for each other allowing for deeper shares and healing in tribe. ❤️

In somatic experiencing a feeling is called a felt sense. It is a raw physical sensation. Our emotions are felt physically. Often times we leave the body when we feel the physical sensations of an emotion in order to suppress or avoid feeling it. But when we allow ourselves to feel it, we give it an opportunity to shift. We come back into our bodies and allow it to be as it is. We can titrate feeling it so we don’t become overwhelmed by it. But we aren’t taught this. And sometimes part of my sessions have to be about educating before we can start the process. Because when I ask you where in your body you are feeling it, people often respond by sharing emotions and the stories and judgements tied to it. This is another way of avoiding feeling it. And as they say “feel it to heal it.”
