May is Asthma & Allergy Awareness Month! Here are some important signs that could indicate you have allergies or asthma, along with tips on how to manage them.

🌸 ALLERGIES
Possible Symptoms:
• Sneezing, itchy nose, and watery eyes
• Rashes or eczema
• Difficulty sleeping due to nasal congestion

Ways to Help:
• Monitor daily pollen counts
• Use allergy medication as necessary
• Consider air purifiers or allergen covers for your home

🌬 ASTHMA
Possible Symptoms:
• Persistent cough or wheezing
• Breathing difficulties, particularly after exertion
• Coughing at night

It's Arthritis Awareness Month
Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 adults in America are diagnosed with Arthritis according to the CDC? Here are some tips to reduce the risk of having chronic arthritis:

- Stay physically active: A body in motion stays in motion! Remember to aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise daily.
- Maintain a healthy weight: Extra weight puts major pressure on joints—especially knees and hips. Lower weight can also help to reduce inflammation!
- Prevent Injuries: Take time to stretch before/after exercising, and don't brush off sharp pains!
