Your s*x drive has disappeared.

You're exhausted, gaining weight, and your brain feels like it's running on fumes.

And everyone keeps telling you the same thing:

"It's just menopause."

But what if menopause isn't the whole story?

What if your thyroid is contributing to why you're exhausted, struggling with your weight, and no longer interested in s*x?

And here's the kicker…

Your thyroid labs may have come back NORMAL.

Does that mean there's nothing else worth investigating? Absolutely not!

In my latest video, "Can Low Thyroid Kill Your S*x Drive? Even If Your Labs Are Normal?",

I'm revealing a connection that often gets overlooked: how your thyroid influences testosterone availability through something called SHBG.

Don't worry. I'll explain it without making you feel like you need a medical degree!

You'll also discover why I don't believe the word normal should automatically end the conversation when you're still feeling miserable.

Because losing your energy, mental clarity, and desire for intimacy shouldn't automatically be dismissed as an inevitable part of getting older.

No uterus? No progesterone. End of discussion.

That's what millions of women have been told after a hysterectomy.

But here's the problem:

Progesterone was never just a uterine hormone.

Your brain has progesterone receptors. So does your breast tissue. And your nervous system responds to progesterone through pathways involved in sleep, mood, and anxiety.

So why does removing your uterus suddenly make progesterone irrelevant?

It doesn't.

The traditional "no uterus, no progesterone" rule makes sense when we're talking about protecting the uterine lining.

But that's only ONE of progesterone's roles.
And there's another distinction most women never hear about:

Bioidentical micronized progesterone is NOT the same as synthetic progestins.

They have different effects in the body, and research suggests micronized progesterone may offer sleep benefits that deserve a closer look.

In my latest video, "No Uterus? Do You Still Need Progesterone?",

I'm breaking down what the guidelines address, what they leave unanswered, and why your symptoms deserve more consideration than your surgical history alone.

ā–¶ļø WATCH HERE: https://youtu.be/oGsoc-pmZQo?si=yVKo0FwfVJ3g8F2a

I'm not saying every woman without a uterus needs progesterone. I'm saying every woman deserves an informed conversation about her options.

Because your uterus may be gone, but your progesterone receptors didn't go anywhere.

You're 64.

You're taking hormone replacement therapy.

You're sleeping better, your hot flashes are controlled, and you feel good.

Then you have a birthday.

You turn 65.

And suddenly you're told:

"It's time to stop your hormones."

Wait…what exactly happened between 11:59 PM and 12:01 AM?

Did your estrogen suddenly become dangerous?

Or have we turned an individualized medical decision into an arbitrary expiration date?

That's what I'm tackling in this week's video:

Do You Have to Stop HRT at 65? What Women Need to Know

I explain where the "stop at 65" thinking came from, what current menopause guidance actually says, and why hormone therapy should be reassessed based on your health—not the number of candles on your birthday cake.

And we need to talk about the double standard.

Women in their 60s and 70s may remain on antidepressants, sleeping pills, anxiety medications, pain medications, and other prescriptions for years.

Yet somehow estrogen gets the expiration date?

Make that make sense.

I'll also give you one question to ask your healthcare provider if you're ever told you're "too old" for hormones.

Because your birthday shouldn't make this decision.

Your health should.

You've probably seen the ads.

The O-Shot. PRP. Shockwave therapy. Va**nal laser. "Va**nal rejuvenation."

Better or***ms.

More lubrication.

Less leaking.

Pain-free s*x.

Maybe even a va**na that has apparently discovered the fountain of youth. šŸ˜‰

Sounds fantastic.

But before you hand over hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars, there's one question I want you to ask:
What exactly are we treating?

Because va**nal dryness, painful s*x, urinary leakage, decreased sensation, difficulty reaching or**sm, and low libido are not the same problem.

And one shiny procedure isn't necessarily the answer to all of them.

In my newest video, I break down three treatments being heavily marketed to women right now:

• Shockwave/acoustic wave therapy
• PRP and the "O-Shot"
• Va**nal laser and radiofrequency treatments

I'll explain why clinicians are interested in them, what they're actually intended to treat, and where the evidence stands.

Because promising and proven are not the same word.
And here's something else I want every woman to understand:
Don't jump from "My va**na is dry" to "I need regenerative medicine."

First, figure out why it's dry.

Look at the tissue.

Look at the hormonal environment.

Look at blood flow, pelvic floor function, medications, metabolic health, and the rest of the body.

Treat the problem—not the marketing category.

ā–¶ļø WATCH NOW: Can You Really Rejuvenate Your Va**na? O-Shot, Laser, & Shockwave: https://youtu.be/ROzeMDLDomM?si=0sQVDq36zGL_pUNY

And please remember:

Your goal isn't a younger va**na. It's a va**na that FUNCTIONS.

Comfort. Healthy tissue. Pain-free intimacy. Bladder control. S*xual response. Confidence.

That's health.

What if you still want s*x…but your body just isn't responding the way it used to?

Arousal takes longer.

Sensation has changed.

Lubrication isn't what it used to be.

Or**sm takes longer—or feels different.

Most women are told this is simply "low libido" or another consequence of menopause.

But desire and physical arousal are not the same thing.

And there's one piece of female s*xual health we talk about constantly in men—but often overlook in women:

Blood flow.

In my newest video, Female Arousal After Menopause: The Blood Flow Connection,

You Want S3X, But..

I explain why your vascular health matters to s*xual response—and why these changes may tell us something about more than your s*x life.

šŸ‘‰ Watch the video HERE: https://youtu.be/AflPge3FnTI?si=eBFz_f2nHX0QWtnC

Your s*xual health isn't separate from the rest of your health.

Your hormones matter—but so do your brain, nervous system, metabolism, muscles and blood vessels.

Common does not mean you simply have to accept it.

To your vitality,

Dr. Cheryl Winter

, ,

Maybe you still want intimacy.

Maybe you still love your partner.

But somewhere around perimenopause or menopause… s*x changed.

It became dry. Uncomfortable. Maybe even painful.

And eventually, you started thinking:
"I guess I just don't want s*x anymore."

But what if your libido isn't actually the problem?

There's a condition called Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) that can affect va**nal tissue, lubrication, sensation, urinary symptoms—and yes, your s*x life.

And far too many women have never even heard of it.

In my newest video, I explain what's actually happening and, more importantly, what you can do about it.
