Take Action ASAP! Support CHC Funding in the State Budget

Deadline: June 15

Pennsylvania is one of 4 states that DOES NOT support Community Health Centers (CHC). Deliver a message to your state legislators asking them to prioritize including funding for CHCs in the FY 2026-27 State Budget. CHCs in Pennsylvania care for more patients than ever before, serving more than 1 million patients annually at more than 475 sites in 57 different counties. This includes 305,464 children under age 18, 16,831 veterans, and 174,328 uninsured individuals.

Community Health Centers are requesting $5 million in funding in the Pennsylvania State Budget (FY 2026-27), to assist in covering the costs of providing care to the rising number of uninsured Pennsylvanian's: and to assist in covering some of the additional unfunded costs, such as Community Health Workers, transportation, care coordination, technology costs, etc., that are critical to patient care.

Go to the PACHC State Advocacy page and TAKE ACTION by June 15! Ask your state Senator and state Representative to send a letter to their caucus leadership indicating their support of the budget ask to support CHCs.
