That 3 PM craving is not always hunger.
Sometimes it is the body reaching for stimulation because it is already tired, irritated, or running on reserve.
Krishna spoke about foods that are too bitter, sour, salty, hot, pungent, dry, and burning. Foods that may increase discomfort and agitation.
Ayurveda says something similar in the language of the body.
Extra coffee. Spicy food. Energy drinks. Salty snacks. Too much fermented food. Eating only to push through exhaustion.
They may feel useful in the moment, but over time, they can disturb Agni, Pitta, Vata, digestion, sleep, mood, and energy rhythm.
Food is not only fuel.
It shapes steadiness.
