py, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Prosthetic and Orthotic Services. Meadow Park’s Primary Care Physicians are in our facility daily, and are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Primary Care Physicians are affiliated with major hospitals in our area, such as New York Presbyterian - Queens, NorthWell Health System (North Shore Forest Hills, Long Island Jewish and North Shore Manhasset), Mount Sinai Queens, Flushing Hospital, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Queens Hospital Center, and Elmhurst Hospital. Our Physicians provide ongoing continuity of medical care both within our facility and when our residents are in the hospital. We have Consulting Specialists in Cardiology, Dermatology, Dental, Endocrinology, ENT, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Optometry, Opthomology, Pain Management, Physiatry, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Urology and Wound Care. Our Rehab Department is committed to helping residents maximize their potential through their services. We help patients regain their independence, thus allowing them to return home as soon as possible. Utilizing state of the art equipment in our rehab gym, our skilled therapy staff offers an array of rehab services including: Physiatry, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Prosthetic and Orthotic Services, and Wii (Nintendo Wii gaming system). At Meadow Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, we serve nutritious, well balanced meals. Our menu selection includes food from different ethnic backgrounds. Alternates are available for all meals. Snacks are provided twice daily. A Mashgiach is on premises seven days a week. We are strictly Glatt Kosher and are under the exclusive quality seal of the Vaad of Queens. Meadow Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center's therapeutic recreation department offers a variety of individual and group activities, which include providing for the resident’s personal values, beliefs, and cultural and spiritual preferences. Our programs incorporate activities for verbal, sensory, tactile, physical and cognitive stimulation. Residents are encouraged to actively participate in scheduled activities on the unit, but also are provided with the opportunity and tools necessary to pursue independent leisure pursuits of interest and choice.
