Wondering how to get to the Student Health and Counseling Center? Just follow me (your favorite Bulldog plushie!) 🐶🐾🦴

1. Start at the fountain ⛲️

2. Head towards the Resnick Student Union ✅

3. Head down the concrete sidewalk to the right of the Resnick Student Union 🚶🏼🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏾‍♂️

4. Keep walking past the Music building, next to the green lawn! ✅🐾

5. You’ll see a crosswalk! Carefully cross towards the Lab school across the street! Look for the directional sign 🪧 at the crosswalk to confirm. 🙏🏻

6. Woohoo! You made it to Lab School. 🏫 Look for the blue sign that I’m sitting on. Then, turn right.

7. Continue walking towards the dorms. The lab school should be on your left! 🎉

8. You’ll see another crosswalk. Cross carefully, and continue heading towards the dorms.

9. The Student Health and Counseling Center will be on your left hand side! Head into the automated door 🚪 and say hello! Or, schedule an appointment to see one of our doctors or therapists today! ❤️⛑️🐾🦴

Welcome Week 🤝

Three days, three different ways we shared about how our students can dive into their health and wellness all semester long. Our staff/faculty handed out free goodie bags stuffed with health and wellness items, provided helpful information about our services and programs and even made sure our Bulldogs found their classes. 🗺️📍

Welcome back! We are excited to have you on campus. We want you to have fun, but remember to be safe and look out for yourself and others.

If you don't feel safe walking alone or something has happened don't hesitate to call the Fresno State Police Department at 559-278-8400 or press the button on the blue emergency posts located all around campus.

If you need additional support, schedule an appointment with the Student Health and Counseling Center at 559-278-2734 and ask about Bulldogs for Recovery 🐾 or Survivor Advocacy Support Services 💜.

💜 Confidential support and advocacy services to individuals who have experienced sexual violence/misconduct, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence.

🐾 Meetings online or in-person for sober-curious individuals, individuals who are in active recovery, or those who are seeking tools to help a loved one. Everyone is welcome!

Planning on going out with friends? Remember these tips if you plan to consume alcohol. 👇

1. Pace yourself when you are consuming alcohol and drink water/eat food in between 💧
2. Check for signs of dehydration 🥵
3. Check in with yourself and on friends. 👥
4. Call 911 if someone becomes unconscious, or is having a life-threatening emergency. ☎️

Remember, look out for yourself and your fellow peers. It’s the right thing to do! Stay safer, Bulldogs.
